FEE GUIDE

Depop seller fees, worked out

Depop does not charge US sellers a selling fee. What it keeps is payment processing: 3.3% of the sale plus shipping, plus $0.45.

The rate is Depop’s published standard rate, checked October 16, 2026 on Depop, Seller fees and charges. Fees change, so check that page before you rely on a number. This is a guide to a platform’s fees, not tax or accounting advice.

The fee

No selling fee for US sellers; payment processing of 3.3% + $0.45. The item price plus shipping, and any sales tax. Boosted listings add a boosting fee when the boosted item sells, which is not included here.

What you keep at common prices

What is left of the sale price and the shipping the buyer paid, after the platform’s fee and before your label and what the item cost you.

Sale priceHow it soldFeeLeft after the fee
$12.00Shipped, buyer paid $5.00 shipping$1.01$15.99
$25.00Shipped, buyer paid $6.00 shipping$1.47$29.53
$50.00Shipped, buyer paid $8.00 shipping$2.36$55.64

Worth knowing

  • Depop ended its 10% US selling fee for new listings on July 15, 2024.
  • Processing is also charged on the sales tax the buyer pays. The examples leave tax out, so the real fee is a little higher where there is sales tax.
  • A boosted listing adds a boosting fee when the boosted item sells. It is not in these examples.

Work out your own sale

The net after fees calculator takes your price, shipping, label and item cost and shows what you keep. Fees on the other platforms: eBay, Poshmark, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp. If a platform sends you a tax form, see Form 1099-K for resellers.
